Wladyslaw Syrokomla, born Ludwik Władysław Franciszek Kondratowicz (1823-1862), Polish poet and translator, author of translations into Polish of works by: Ryleyev, Goethe, Lermontov, honorary member of the Poznan Society of Friends of Sciences, selected works: Born Jan Dęboróg (1854 ), Margier. A Poem from the History of Lithuania (1855 ), Janko Cemetery (1856 ), Melodies from the House of the Insane (1861 ).
