The painting of St Benedict from the Jesuit Church of St Peter and St Paul in Lviv is a painting dating to the 1840s, serving as a temporary veil in the main altar. The work had been wrapped in a roll in recent years which contributed significantly to its poor state of preservation. Conservation work on the painting was carried out in 2020 and 2021. In the first stage, rescue work was carried out. In 2021, aesthetic conservation of the painting took place.
