Catholic c emetery
Located in the south-western part of the town, the Catholic cemetery was established back in the late 18th century. It is still active and maintained in fairly good condition. It has the character of a village cemetery, so the tombstones rise directly from the turf. The oldest preserved tombstones are the two classical obelisks in the depth of the cemetery, topped with vases entwined in drapery and bearing German inscriptions. One of them belongs to Johan Kasthofer (d. 1792), the other has an illegible inscription. Among the oldest is also the monument topped by a stone obelisk supported on balls on the grave of Róża Gliniecka née Kuczyńska (d. 1818).

Rock tombstones predominate in the cemetery. According to Hauser, the most interesting of these include: rocks with an inscription book topped with a knotted cross entwined with an oak branch (a frequent decorative motif in this cemetery) on the grave of Stanisław Ohaszczyński (d. 1918); rocks with an inscription wreath and a stone crucifix entwined with a chain of thorns on the grave of Ksawery (d. 1917) and Julian (d. 1933) or rocks with an inscription book and a "knotted" cross on the grave of Rev. Jan Bładowski (d. 1928).

Hauser's attention is also drawn to an imposing unnamed monument topped by a large statue of Our Lady Queen of the World, with a niche flanked by spiral columns, and to a neo-Gothic monument on the grave of Stanisław Kobylanski (d. 1908), "forester in the estate of Count Andrzej Potocki".

In the parish church there is additionally a plaque commemorating General Stanislaw Maczek, born in Szczerc, dating from 1996.

Greek-Catholic Cemetery
The Greek-Catholic cemetery is located on Cerkiewna Mountain and stretches around a historic defensive Orthodox church. It contains many old gravestones, of which stone monuments topped with folk crucifixes predominate. Hauser did not find any gravestones with inscriptions in Polish there.

Information about the cemetery published (see bibliography).
