Tombstone of Feliks Bugajło

Burial site originally marked by a cross on a two-stage plinth and base. Cross not preserved, plinth. First step of plinth with moulded upper edges. On the front an engraved inscription (2). The second step of the plinth high, tapering upwards, enclosed by a carved arch in a donkey's back. On the front is an engraved chalice with a host and a book tied with a stole, below is an engraved inscription. The tombstone is enclosed by a fence consisting of rods joined by slats.

Inscription:

1. Ś. P. / KS. FELIX / BUGAJŁO / Przełożony klasztoru / karmelitów [bosych] / w Wilnie / ur. 1801 zm. 1884 r. / licząc kapłaństwa / 50 lat Prosi o pobożne westchnienie. //.
2. Błogosławieni czystego serca / albowiem oni Boga oglądać będą. //.

In Wacław Wejtka's card file, under the letter Bo, card number 346, dated 1934. According to the file, the old location of the gravestone is sector "AII, N15, 2nd row behind the Parowski family". Next to the description of the gravestone there is a note: "a high granite obelisk with a cross at the top, from which the metal crucifixion has been removed".
