Tomb of the Jurewicz family

Rectangular tomb covered with a slab, at the head of which is originally a cross on a two-stepped pedestal and base, and a granite stele. The cross is not preserved on the plinth. First step of plinth with chamfered top edges. Second step of plinth tapering upwards, with chamfered upper edges. On the front a shallow panel with corners of a segmental arch, in which a relief inscription is carved (1). On the stele on the front a concave carved cross, below it an engraved inscription (2). On the front of the tomb two vaulted openings with entablature.

In the inscription field a space was left for the carving of the date of death. According to Lucjan Uziębła's file, there was also a tin plate on the tomb with the inscription: S. P. / Józef Jurewicz / Military pensioner / Knight of the Cross of Valour / Died on 1 May 1932 / aged 42 //.

State of preservation:

lichens, cracks, non-maintained finial
