Gravestone of Julius Ellert

Burial place originally marked by a cross on a moulded plinth on a two-stage plinth and base in a two-stage band. First step of plinth with chamfered upper edges. On the front an engraved inscription (1). To the right, in the upper left corner, the signature of the author. The second step of the pedestal with chamfered upper edges. On the front, engraved inscription (2). Above it an engraved host in a chalice on a book and stole.

2. Ś. + P. / KS. JULJUSZ ALOIZY / ELLERT / PROBOSZCZ KOŚĆ. ŚW. JANA / KANONIK HONOROWY / KAPITUŁY WILEŃSKIEJ / + 16 XI 1925 / W WIEKU LAT 59 //.

According to Waclaw Wejtka's file, the gravestone was originally marked with a wooden cross with a tin plate bearing the inscription: S + P / Priest / Julius-Aloizy / Ellert / Pastor Kość. Sgo Jana / Died 16 November 1925 R / at the age of 59 / Peace to his soul //.
