Tombstone of Józefa Kobylińska

Burial site originally marked by a cross on a rock form pedestal. The cross is not preserved. A plaque on the plinth at the front with an engraved inscription. The whole, together with tombstones 32, 33 and 35, enclosed by a cast-iron fence with a gate on the axis at the front.

JÓZEFA KOBYLIŃSKA / Um. 25 Paźdz. 1881 r. / żyła lat 17. / W kwiecie dni twoich córko / kochana / Poszłaś w krainę wieczności / Przyjąć nagrodę u tronu Pana / Za cnoty Wiary, Nadziei, Miłości / Przyjm dziś łzę naszą na twym / śmierci progu, / Pociecha nasza spoczywaj w Bogu. //.

According to Wacław Wejtka's file, the inscription from an earlier gravestone: Józefa Kobylińska / died in the spring of life in 1881 / Oct. 25, at the age of 17 / At the end of your days, dear daughter / You went into the tap of eternity / To receive your reward at the throne of the Lord / For the virtues of faith, hope, love. / Accept today our tear on this death's threshold, / Our consolation - rest in God! //. Originally, the present gravestone was topped by a cast iron cross entwined with vines.

State of preservation:

corrosion, mosses, lichens, non-maintained finial
