Тернопіль | Ukraine

Burial site marked by the figure of a seated Thanatos at the stone sarcophagus on the base. Thanatos leaning with his elbow-bent right hand against the lid of the sarcophagus, holding a laurel wreath in it. In his left lowered hand he holds an upturned torch. The figure is dressed in a long, folded robe and is seated on a plinth decorated with relief floral motifs. Profiled panels on the sarcophagus chest. The sarcophagus has a partially preserved engraved inscription. In the front panel to the left of the inscription (1) there is an engraved signature written vertically from top to bottom.

Inscription:

1. Czytelniku! [Tu leżą] zwłoki uśpione / [...] troski [...] / nadzieje płonne / w [...] zabiegi gdy śmierć przyszle gońca / [...] uciec dzieci zostawił, dzieci płaczą Oyca / ieszcześliwe Córki ten tu pomnik wznoszą. / Ciebie Czytelniku o westchnienie proszą. //.
2. Rodził się dia 17go / Stycznia 1793 roku / Umarł dnia 4go Marca / 1841 roku / Prosi o pozdrowienie Anielskie //.
3. [K][...] złożony tutey pod [tym kamieni]em / Wzór męża, oyca, [...] / Miłował prawdę, był ludzki i sprawiedliwy / Westchnij za nim do Boga przechodniu poczciwy //.
