Tomb of the Prominski family

Тернопіль | Ukraine

Rectangular tomb, of regular sandstone blocks on a base, covered by a two-storey slab. The front façade is flanked by pilasters with bone capitals supporting a stepped cornice with a full overhanging arch, below which is a relief shell. The whole is surmounted by a profiled panel supported on two geometrically shaped sandstone blocks, surmounted by a cross on a pedestal decorated with volutes. Below, on axis, a slab enclosing the entrance opening, on which are two cast-iron entablatures, an engraved cross and an inscription (1). Above, a granite plaque enclosed on the sides by a full overhanging arch with a ritual inscription (2).
