Tomb of the Żólinski family

Тернопіль | Ukraine

Rectangular-plan tomb of irregular sandstone blocks on a base, covered originally probably with a two-stage slab and an unpreserved gable with finial. At the front, the entrance, preceded by a step, is enclosed by a panel on which is a panel with quarter-circle chamfered corners. In its field two cast-iron entablatures and an engraved Orthodox cross. Leaning against the panel is a tin plaque with an engraved inscription. On the sides two pairs of empty rectangular panels.

Comments on the state of preservation and visible restoration:

The tomb is very dilapidated, no covering, only the front elevation remains. Trees are growing out of the tomb. Inscription filled in with white paint. The extreme panels of the front elevation and the panel closing the entrance, painted with red paint.
