In the cemetery in Louky nad Olší (Czech Louky nad Olší - now within the administrative boundaries of the city of Karviná), in the back, on the left-hand side, is the grave of Jan Gawlas, an AK liaison officer with the pseudonym František Moldrzyk, who was shot on 19 August 1944 by gendarmes in Louky and buried in the local cemetery.
