Biography:
Viktoria Gorinska was born in 1902 in Vienna died in 1945 in the Ravensbrück concentration camp. She attended the Kunstgewerbeschule in Vienna. She then moved to Warsaw where she continued her education at the School of Fine Arts under Konrad Krzyżanowski.She belonged to the Association of Graphic Artists "Ryt" and was a member of the Association of Polish Graphic Artists. Her most frequently used artistic medium was the woodcut. She was one of the first women to take up fencing - which she wrote newspaper articles about. She was a liaison officer during the Nazi occupation (pseudonym Leti). After the fall of the Warsaw Uprising she was sent to Ravensbrück concentration camp where she was executed.
