Biography:

Andrzej Pągowski born in 1953 in Warsaw, son of Franciszek Gustaw Pągowski and Krystyna née Modzelewska, graphic artist and poster designer. He studied at the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Poznań at the Faculty of Applied Arts. At the beginning of his career, he published satirical drawings, among others, in "Szpilki", "Przekrój" and "Radar". He began designing posters in 1976. He was art director of the magazines "Scena", "Moda" and the monthly magazine "Playboy".
