Further into the cemetery, on the slope of the hill, is the Polish war quarters, where the soldiers who died in the 1920 battles and died from wounds sustained in those battles were buried. The quarters were arranged in the 1930s by the Ministry of Public Works - each cross placed on a soldier's grave had a sequential number embossed on it, and a main monument was erected with the inscription: "Greater than this love none has to give his life for his friends + 1920". At least 113 soldiers were buried here, but after the Second World War part of the cemetery was taken over for civilian burials. At the beginning of the 21st century, the condition of the quarters was catastrophic - the crosses lay knocked down, the main monument was in the best condition. Rescue work was carried out in 2006, embedding the crosses but not reconstructing the grave fields. There are now 98 crosses in the quarters - 56 named and 42 unnamed. Comprehensive renovation of the cemetery section was carried out in 2019 by the Foundation in Aid to Poles in the East as part of a task co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage's programme "Sites of National Remembrance Abroad". Due to the considerable deterioration of the tombstone material, their granite replicas were made, the main monument was restored, and a new fence was erected for the quarters.
