Biography:

Ryszard Horowitz born in 1939 in Krakow, photographer. A Holocaust survivor, the youngest of over a thousand people saved by Oskar Schindler. He studied at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. In 1959 he moved to New York, where he studied at the Pratt Institute. He was an assistant to Richard Avedon. He worked as an art director for Grey Advertising. In 1967 he founded his own photographic agency, dealing with advertising and editorial photography.
