According to Anna Lewkowska, Jacek Lewkowski and Wojciech Walczak, two 19th-century tombstones have survived at the late Baroque St John the Baptist Church in Wasiliszki Nowe. The older one, from 1853, bears the signature: "WILNO J. KOZŁOWSKI". The inscription reads: "TO THE DEATH OF THE DEAD STANISŁAW PRZYBYTKO / DIED. 24 MARCH 1853 / LIVED 63 YEARS / HIS DISTRESSED WIFE WITH HER CHILDREN IN TOKEN OF AFFECTION / ERECTED THIS MEMORIAL". To quote the aforementioned authors: "There are two epitaph plates in the church: that of Jozef Bialopiotrevich (d. 1780), a Lydian guard in Valyszach, and a plaque dedicated to the soldiers of the Home Army of the Novogrudok District, murdered on 10 January 1944 by the German occupiers." The cemetery is maintained in good condition.
Lewkowski and Walczak also describe an active Catholic cemetery in Vasiliszki Nowe. It has a rectangular plan and 1.9 ha of walled area. It was established in the middle of the 19th century and contains a dozen or so tombstones from the second half of that century. The oldest, from 1868, commemorates Franciszka of Nowicka Tabeńska and bears the following inscription: "FRANCISZKA Z NOWICKICH / TABEŃSKA DIED 13 APRIL. 1868 / AGED 48". As the cited researchers report, "the cemetery is heavily overgrown, difficult to access."
