Biography:

Zdzisław Lachura (1920-2007), born in Zagórze. Between 1945 and 1950, he studied painting and printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. One of his professors was Eugeniusz Eibisch. Awarded in 1955 (Arsenal Exhibition of Young Visual Arts). He took up social themes and also depicted the life of the Jewish community. His works can be found in collections in Poland and abroad.
