Biography:

Bronislaw "Bruno" Bak was born in Leszno in 1922 and died in 1981 in Statesbro, Georgia. He was an artist and lecturer. In 1952, he and his wife Heidi emigrated to the United States. Initially, he worked in a stained glass studio in Chicago. In 1958 he became a lecturer at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota. From 1973 he taught at Georgia Southern College in Statesboro, working there until his death in 1981.
