Biography:

Leszek Rózga (1924-2015), Polish painter. During World War II, he served as a forced labourer in the Third Reich. After the end of the war, he completed his painting studies at the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Łódź and at the Propaganda Graphics Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. Since 1967 he has been an academic lecturer at the State Academy of Fine Arts, where he held the position of Vice-Dean of the Graphic Arts Department from 1971 to 1978. Since 1975, head of the Department of Printmaking. As a painter, he has taken part in 160 individual exhibitions and about 500 group exhibitions. Since 1990, full professor of fine arts.
