Lilla Kulka was born on 6 January 1946 in Kraków. She is a Polish artist, creator of artistic textiles and a full professor. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, then at the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Poznań, where she received her diploma from Prof. Stanisław Teisseyre and Prof. Magdalena Abakanowicz.
