Cemetery in Ivanopil (formerly Januszpol)

The Catholic cemetery in Ivanopil (formerly Januszpol) is located in the south of the village. According to Zbigniew Hauser, it was a small necropolis. The author found few traces of its existence, which are still being erased - the cemetery is overgrown, and two of the four tombstones were no longer found in 2001. The most important object is the dilapidated burial chapel of the Trapsh family, owners of Januszpol. The walls of the chapel are decorated with rustication, relief wreaths and a frieze with a floral motif. In 1994, Hauser saw glazed coffins inside. In 2001 there were two tombstones of the Lechno-Wasiutyński family from the late 19th century nearby.

Information about the cemetery published (see bibliography).
