Pilnica cemetery

Cemetery with Polish gravestone monuments. Information about the cemetery has been published (see bibliography). According to Anna Lewkowska, Jacek Lewkowski and Wojciech Walczak, the active Catholic cemetery is located in the eastern part of the village. It has a rectangular plan and an area of 0.3 ha with no division into alleys and plots. It was established at the beginning of the 20th century and has the largest number of modern, unstyled gravestones. The oldest, from 1918, belongs to Piotr Hordiewski and has the form of a granite pedestal. To quote the aforementioned authors, "in the cemetery a large number of burials of villagers who tragically died during the Second World War." The cemetery is maintained in good condition.
