At the edge of the village, on a hill near the temple, there is a cemetery, part of which is a war quarter from the 1920 battles. The cemetery, established in the interwar period, contains the burial place of soldiers exhumed from the following places: Volkata estate, Ancypery, Hajduki, Horodyszcze, Jablonce, Marcinielewicze, Pleszkuny, Rakitowszczyzna, Siemieniłowo, Sosnowszczyzna, Zawlicze Nowe and Zawlicze Stare. Most of those buried are nameless soldiers, with only 4 names engraved on the crosses. The 1934 publication 'List of Polish Army Losses' by the Military Historical Bureau lists the personalities of 13 soldiers who fell in Volkolat, 12 of whom belonged to the 20th Infantry Regiment, but none of these soldiers have a named grave in the Volkolat cemetery. The plot is situated to the left of the brick gate that dominates the cemetery; the military burial area is 11.5m wide and 18.1m long and is currently unfenced, with the original pre-war fence posts remaining. A total of 59 soldiers are buried in 36 graves (26 individual and 10 mass graves), situated in six rows. In 2019, the quarters were renovated with funding from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. During the renovation work, the main monument in the form of a vertical boulder with the inscription was found buried within the quarters: "ŚP. 1918-1920 to the Unknown Soldier for the blood shed in defence of the Fatherland. On the 10th anniversary". This monument was placed at the top of the square on a low pedestal. Due to the considerable deterioration of the gravestone material, granite replicas were made.
