Tombstone of Barbara Pędziwilk

Czumale | Ukraine

Burial place marked by a statue of the Virgin Mary with a burning heart, on a two-tier plinth and two-tier base. The figure on its own base, shown frontally, wearing a long robe, cloak and maforium. She places her right hand to her breast, touching her heart, above her left, which is withered, a lily branch. Second step of base and first step of plinth with chamfered top edges. The second step of the plinth slightly tapering upwards, the moulding transitions to a wider panel, on the front an engraved inscription.

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu zbaraskiego rozpoczęta została w roku 2019 przez zespół z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie pod kierunkiem prof. Anny Sylwii Czyż i dr. Bartłomieja Gutowskiego. Ze względu na pandemię COViD, a następnie działania wojenne prace od roku 2020 zostały wstrzymane. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i w formie kart inwentaryzacyjnych w katalogu on-line - http://cmentarzetarnopolskie.uksw.edu.pl/. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
