Tombstone of Feliks Tanski

The burial place marked by a cross on a three-stepped plinth and base. Cross on a moulded two-stepped plinth passing into volutes at the bottom, decorated on the front with laurel branches in relief. Cross with arms ending in pyramidal caps. Base with chamfered corners. The first step of the plinth with chamfered upper edges. Second step of plinth with moulded upper edges. On the front, in the lower left corner, an engraved signature. The third step of the plinth tapering upwards, with two plain friezes, with an Ionic kimation and a semicircular uplift to the front, covered with a hipped roof. On the front a plaque framed by a cartouche with a laurel garland. On it an engraved inscription. The whole is enclosed by a fence consisting of a band and rods terminating in buttons and connected by sigmoidal bars, with a single-leaf gate at the front. The fence is shared with gravestone No. 38.

According to Wacław Wejtka's records, Feliks Tański lived 88 years and died on 28 April 1888. In 2010-2011, with the support of the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The tombstone was renovated by the Social Committee for the Care of Stara Rossa (www.rossa.lt).
