Tombstone of Karol Łohin

Soborne | Ukraine

Burial site originally marked by a cross on a plinth, on a two-stage plinth and base. Cross perpetuated, resting on a nagorbek. From the top a titulus with the inscription INRI. At the crossing of the arms a relief carved figure of Christ Crucified. The first step of the plinth with chamfered upper edges. The second step on the front a panel with quarter-circle chamfered corners, where an inscription is engraved. Crowned with moulding, covered with a hipped roof. The two sides decorated with an engraved frame repeating the shape of the panel.

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu buczackiego wykonana została w latach 2017-2019 przez zespół z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie pod kierunkiem prof. Anny Sylwii Czyż i dr. Bartłomieja Gutowskiego. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i opublikowany w książce "Cmentarze dawnego powiatu tarnopolskiego", t. 1 i 2, pod red. A. S. Czyż i B. Gutowskiego, Warszawa 2017-2019 roku. Karty inwentaryzacyjne opublikowane zostały w katalogu on-line - http://cmentarzetarnopolskie.uksw.edu.pl/. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
