Tombstone of Katarzyna Wróblewska

Burial place originally marked by a cross on a two-stepped plinth and base. Cross not preserved, on moulded plinth. First step of plinth with profiled upper edges. The second step of the pedestal slightly tapering upwards, with chamfered upper edges. On the front a panel with bas-relief masquerade decoration supported by two columns. In it a bas-relief inscription and a plain plaque with chamfered quarter-circle corners.

Additional information:

According to Wacław Wejtka's records, the gravestone was originally enclosed by a fence consisting of six granite posts connected by a chain. The origin of the gravestone from J. Baranowski's workshop determined by its similarity to signed gravestones cf. B. Gutowski, Warsztat wileński Baranowskich (in print).

mosses, lichens, non-maintained finial
