Tombstone of Mikołaj Przysiężny

Baworów | Ukraine

Burial site marked by cross on three-tier plinth and three-tier base. Cross on its own base. The arms of the cross terminating in chamfered margins with tabs, at their intersection a figure in relief of Christ Crucified, supporting the feet on a skull with tibias, above which a titulus. The steps of the base glazed. The first two steps of the pedestal with chamfered upper edges, on the second on the front an engraved inscription. The third step of the pedestal with profiled upper edges. On the front a panel closed with a semicircle, in it a relief figure of St. Nicholas. The saint is depicted with long hair and beard with moustache, wearing bishop's robes, with a book in his right hand and crutches in his left.
