Biography:

Stanisław Bukowski (1904-1979), Polish architect, engineer, urban planner and conservationist. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology in 1933, and was an assistant to Romuald Gutt at the Municipal Urban Planning Bureau in Vilnius between 1936 and 1940. He designed, among other things, the building of the Common School in Vilnius (with Romuald Gutt, 1938-1939) and the sports stadium in Vilnius (1938).
