Tadeusz Czacki (1765-1813), born in Poryck, son of Feliks (Szczęsny) Czacki and Katarzyna Malachowska, educational and economic activist, pedagogue, historian, economist, bibliophile, numismatist, member of the Commission of National Education, co-founder of the May 3rd Constitution, co-founder of the Warsaw Society of Friends of Science, creator of the Poryck Library, principal founder and organiser of the Krzemieniecki Lyceum, non-garden starosta of Novgorod (1786-1792).
