Biography:

Bauman Frederick (1765/1770-1845), architect and sculptor. Son of Virgilius. He received his education in Warsaw and Berlin. He was a pupil and collaborator of Aigner. Between 1801 and 1816 he worked in Łańcut. In 1817 he moved to Lviv, where he restored the Sobieski tenement house. He worked for the Dzieduszycki-Morski, Potocki, Poniński, Strachocki, Mniszech, Brześciański, Uruski and Ossoliński families. In 1830 he made stucco decorations in the room of the former St. Agnes church, which is part of the Ossolineum buildings in Lviv.
