Tombstone of Désirée Scibor-Rylska

On a stepped plinth, a tomb on a separate base with a gabled cap projecting beyond the light of the walls, on it a plastic cross, on the sides fragments of metal hooks for hanging wreaths. On the front of the slab an inscription.

Désirée Scibor-Rylska, née Dutilloy (1854-1914), born on 31 July 1854 in Paris, daughter of Louis Pierre Dutilloy, bronze fitter, died on 28 November 1857 in Gentilly, and Françoise Charlotte Désirée Protat, pensioner. Wife of Bronislaw Pawel Scibor-Rylski, engineer, born on 28th December 1842 in Warsaw, son of Pawel Antoni Tomasz Scibor-Rylski (died 24th July 1871 in Warsaw) and Teofila Marchocka, pensioner. The wedding took place on 20 February 1883 in Paris. Witnesses included Władysław Zieliński, a banker from Neuilly, and Captain Doliwo-Dobrowolski of the General Staff. She died on 10 October 1914 in Paris, at her residence at 5, rue des Saints-Pères, and was buried on 12 October 1914.
