Biography:

Zygmunt Skirmunt (1839-1863), born in Kobrin, son of Aleksander Skirmunt (1798-1870), owner of, among other places, Porzecz and Molodov, pioneer of industry in the Pinsk region, and Konstancja Sulistrowska (1806-1845), doctor of philosophy at Heidelberg University. Husband of Eugenia Sawicka, who resided in Geneva. Died at 200, rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis, Paris, on 5 October 1863. His death was reported by Alexander Skirmunt, residing at 20, rue d'Antin, his father, and Kalikst Orzeszko, estatesman, residing at 20, rue d'Antin, brother-in-law, husband of Emilia Skirmunt (1833-1905). He was buried at Père-Lachaise Cemetery on 7 October 1863 (general number 173526, annual number 3706).
