Tombstone of Jan Kolasa

Hłuboczek Wielki | Ukraine

Burial place marked by a statue of St John the Apostle on a two-stage plinth and base. The statue on its own base. St John is depicted as a young man without facial hair, with his hair neatly arranged to his shoulders. He is dressed in a long ruffled robe, from under which his bare feet are visible. In his left hand he holds a chalice, in his right a book. At the saint's feet, to his left, is an eagle. The first step of the plinth with chamfered upper edges, decorated with grosgrain. The second step of the plinth slightly tapering towards the top, covered by a moulded, four-sided stepped roof. On the front an engraved inscription.
