Sculpture in bronze by Zofia Wolska, part of the artist's Chopin cycle (portraits can be found at Okęcie Airport in Warsaw, in front of the main entrance to the Stadtmuseum in Dusseldorf or in front of the manor house in Żelazowa Wola). The composite is depicted in a painful grimace, with eyes closed, eyebrows drawn together and long hair. The texture is smooth in places, unworked in others. The unveiling in the courtyard of the monastery in Valldemossa, Mallorca, took place on 21.09.1998 and was carried out by Jolanta Kwasniewska and Queen Sophie of Spain.
