Stanisław Wojtowski (1850-1913), Polish and German architect. His parents were Teodor Wojtowski and Maria (née Rodewald). He graduated from the Poznań gymnasium, then served in the Poznań garrison, where he received the rank of officer. He went to the Technical University in Berlin, where he studied civil engineering and architecture. In 1880 he settled in Wiesbaden, where he founded an architectural firm. He created buildings in the historicist style, with rich detailing. Today, many of his works are protected as monuments. Eleven buildings by him were built in Wiesbaden, others are located in the Rheingau, Rheinhessen and Nobelviertel.
