In Dobromil cemetery there is a cemetery quarter where Polish soldiers killed in Polish-Ukrainian and Polish-Soviet battles from 1918-1920 are buried. The graves are partly destroyed by more recent burials, mainly of Red Army soldiers from World War II.
This plot is located to the right of the main entrance, at the edge of the cemetery, on the eastern side, by the path. The grave field, measuring 200 x 250 cm, is delimited by a low concrete fence. Inside the field, in the middle, stands a wooden cross several metres high. In front of the cross is a concrete diagonal stand (directly adjacent to the fence) into which a slab of black polished stone is embedded. The inscription reads: "To the unknown Polish soldier from the struggle for Independence 1914 - 1920".
