Michał Adam Sozański (1853-1923), born in Błażów, son of Sylvery Sozański and Anna, née Jełowicka, painter and draughtsman. He studied architecture at the Lwów Technical Academy. He was also a pupil of Leonardo Marconi. In 1877 he was called up to the army and took part in the Bosnian campaign. In 1883-1886 and 1890-1891 he was an assistant at the Lviv Technical School. He was one of the creators of the "Panorama of Racławice".
