Approximately 200 m from the cemetery gate, outside the necropolis, there is a single grave of a Polish officer. According to the recollections of older residents, this was a general who was taken prisoner by Soviet soldiers under Semyon Budyonny, tied to a horse and dragged at a gallop until he died. No sources confirm that this was indeed a general; rather, it may have been an officer of lower rank. It is known that before the Second World War this grave was still visited by someone from the family of the murdered man.

Currently, the grave is looked after by the villagers. The name of the soldier buried here is not known. There were plans to move the soldier's remains to the cemetery, but the local people opposed this, as it has become a tradition that funeral processions heading to the cemetery stop at this grave and pay tribute to the deceased.

On the grave is a low granite obelisk with an inscription in Ukrainian and Polish. A tall wooden cross is placed on the obelisk. The inscription states: "Here rests an unknown officer of the Polish Army / fallen in 1920".

The grave was restored by the Council for the Protection of Struggle and Martyrdom Remembrance in 1998.
