Completed works:
The aim of the Volunteers for the Borderlands campaign was to involve a group of volunteers in the preservation of Polish cultural heritage in Bolshovce, Ukraine, in particular by involving them in cleaning up the Polish tombstones in the local cemetery, making photographic documentation of the objects and putting information about the buried persons on a prepared map of the cemetery.

In addition, a monograph on the cemetery was developed as part of the project, taking into account the broader historical context of Eastern Galicia. The monograph, published in electronic form and posted on the website of the Brother Sun Foundation and the project's Partners - the Centre for Polish Culture and European Dialogue in Ivano-Frankivsk and the Centre for Peace and Reconciliation in Bolshovce - is intended to deepen knowledge of the Polish cultural heritage in the Eastern Borderlands among volunteers of the Volunteers for Kresy 2019 campaign and previous editions, and recipients of other activities of the Foundation and Partners. In addition, as part of the project, a Ukrainian version of the historical commentary to the exhibition entitled. "Forgotten heritage" (an exhibition prepared in Polish by volunteers of the 2018 Volunteers for Kresy action), dedicated to the Polish cultural heritage in Bolshovce and nearby Dytiatyn. The exhibition was presented to the local community in Ukraine at the Centre for Peace and Reconciliation in Bolshovce and the Centre for Polish Culture and European Dialogue in Ivano-Frankivsk.
