The POLONIKA Institute, together with the Historical and Literary Society in Paris / Polish Library in Paris, has released a publication containing materials from the 40th Permanent Conference of Polish Museums, Archives and Libraries in the West (MAB for short), which were presented on 28 August-1 September 2018 in Paris.

The MAB is an informal agreement of autonomous organisations dedicated to the care of Polish culture, history and art. It was established in 1977 in Rapperswil by three museum institutions working on behalf of Polish emigration. Over time, other centres joined, collecting the achievements of Polish culture, preserving its riches and presenting its inseparability from the culture of the free world beyond the borders of the then Polish People's Republic. After 1989, MAB members established cooperation with Polish official offices, scientific and cultural institutions.
