Biography:

Jan de Weryha-Wysoczański (1950), Polish sculptor born in Gdansk. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. He obtained his diploma in 1976. Five years later, in 1981, he emigrated to Hamburg. He has participated in many Polish and foreign exhibitions. He is the author of, among others: "Monument to the Poles Deported from the Warsaw Uprising" (Hamburg, 1999).
