Bust of Casimir Pulaski in Cudahy

The bust of Casimir Pulaski is located in the park named after him in Cudahy. The work was created as a result of the local Polish community's desire to commemorate the one hundred and fiftieth anniversary of the death of the national hero of both Poland and the United States of America. One of the initiators of the collection for the purpose of the monument was Bernard Adamkiewicz, who raised the necessary amount under the auspices of the Polish Central Association of Cudahy. The author of the work was Jozef Aszklar. The bust was made of bronze and placed on a pedestal with an inscription. The official unveiling took place in 1932.
