From the beginning of the 19th century, the chateau in Vranov nad Dyji belonged to Polish families, first to the Mniszeks and then to the Stadnickys. It was in the possession of the Polish owners until 1938. At present, the castle is Czech property and serves as a museum. You can visit the flats that once belonged to Stanisław Mniszek and his wife Helena Lubomirska. Among the preserved features are a ladies' bedroom with a sitting room and study, a small family dining room, a reading room and library, and a study in the Masonic spirit. In the interiors, in addition to period furnishings, we will also find an extensive collection of ceramics from the local manufactory, which owes its heyday to the Mniszek family.
