In the Norra cemetery in Stockholm there is a gravestone of a veteran of the January Uprising, Jozef Demontowicz. He was a delegate of the National Government to Scandinavia and a commissioner of that government in Sweden. The tombstone is made of light-coloured stone and is shaped like an obelisk. In the upper part is the coat of arms of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Below the coat of arms is a decoration depicting entwined dragon-snakes, and an inscription.
