The extraordinary life journey of Kazimierz Nowak (born 11.01.1897, died 13.10.1937) and the feat of his journey across Africa (1931-1936) was commemorated by the Nowak's Africa Relay as the Polish traveller's fortitude. A plaque commemorating this journey is located at Waterberg Camp NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) at the entrance to the reception area among the park managers. It stands out among the others with a description of the route in Polish, English and Afrikaans. The plaque was placed by Nowak's Africa Relay.
