Tombstone of Stefan Johowyk

Milowce | Ukraine

Burial place originally marked by cross on plinth and base. Cross perpetuated at mid-height, lies beside gravestone. Cross with arms ending in a trillium form with an engraved rosette, framed by half-brackets in the lower, wider part. At the intersection of the arms there is an engraved Orthodox cross on a semicircular pedestal. On its sides engraved letters IC X, below an engraved inscription. The face of the cross bordered with a groove. The plinth slightly tapering towards the top, with profiled upper edges.
