Designed by Henrik Christopher Glahn, it was erected in 1921. The church contains paintings of the Stations of the Cross painted by Karen Juncker in 1924, a statue of St Francis of Assisi made by Aksel Thielmann, and an altar of St Maximilian Kolbe.
