Olhopol cemetery

Olhopol | Ukraine
ukr. Olʹhopilʹ (Ольгопіль)

The former Catholic cemetery existed within the boundaries of the current municipal cemetery, but no gravestone with a Polish inscription has survived. The only Polish traces are, according to local tradition, the grave of a member of the Sobański family, murdered in 1918 by the Bolsheviks, marked with an iron cross, and the cemetery chapel with a Latin cross on the facade. Zbigniew Hauser described it as ruined. It is known that the cemetery was small and lay to the north of the Lubomirski Palace.

Information about the cemetery published (see bibliography).
