Tombstone of N.N. Levicka

Тернопіль | Ukraine

Burial site marked by a statue of Our Lady with the Child Jesus, on a base and two-stage plinth. The statue on its own base. The Mother of God holds Jesus in both hands, at breast level. She is looking towards the head of the Child. She is dressed in a folded gown, with a cloak slung over her shoulder, which hangs down her back. She has long hair and shoes on her feet. Jesus is holding Mary by the shoulder. His head is missing. He is dressed in a gown. First step of plinth finished with moulding. The second step of the plinth covered by a panel and a beam. Engraved inscription on the front, on the sides and back an engraved frame with quarter circle cut corners.

Originally there may have been another base, but it has sunk into the ground. The statue is badly damaged, with erosion causing the sandstone to delaminate and more fragments to fall off
